How lessons from

aviation can elevate

your corporate culture

"Belinda's story and delivery is not only incredibly engaging, but relevant to so many areas of the modern corporate world. The anecdotes, lessons and learning had the entire team enthralled."

Naomi Barbary-Burke - Marketing Manager PNO Insurance.

These sessions will explore applying lessons learned from aviation to the corporate world. It will be conducted by Belinda, a former airline pilot specialising in training non-technical abilities, such as behaviour and decision-making.

Belinda has extensive experience flying airline jets, with over 8,500 hours of domestic and international flight time. She has also delivered these teachings to pilots, engineers, and operational staff for years.

About Belinda

When Belinda began her career as a first officer for Impulse Airlines at the age of 18, she became one of the youngest airline pilots in Australia and possibly the world. She was so young that she had to wait three years to obtain her command endorsement, which she did on her 21st birthday, the earliest she could. At that point, Qantas selected her to fly a 747 internationally at 21.

She dedicated six years to working on the 747 aircraft, traversing the globe while encountering diverse individuals, various aviation prospects, and extensive travel. Subsequently, at 28, she became the first officer of the Boeing 737.

She served as a first officer until the age of 31, at which point she had to cease her flying duties due to medical concerns. Subsequently, she was employed by Virgin Airlines, where her responsibilities included conducting pilot interviews, providing training on the 737 aircraft, and delivering Human Factors training known as CRM (cockpit resource management) and NTS (non-technical skills).

Due to the influence of COVID, she found herself employed in the corporate sector, working for the largest multinational commercial real estate corporation in the world. She has observed how aviation mishaps, which provided valuable lessons at the cost of life, could assist the corporate world, particularly in financial performance.

Embark on a voyage with Belinda to learn about communication, dispute resolution, workload management, managing superiors, and various other topics.
